Commitment to Public Health

In the event that any of our products present a threat to public health or violate regulatory standards, Shivaan Tattava, led by Proprietor Ketan Gupta, is committed to facilitating the efficient and rapid identification and removal of unsafe food from the distribution chain.

We have a documented recall procedure in place, periodically tested to ensure it is comprehensive and fit for purpose in protecting our consumers.

Recall Procedure

Our systematic approach to managing food safety incidents effectively.

Objective

To effectively manage food recalls ensuring that any product not meeting hygiene, safety, or quality requirements is contained, and either destroyed or rendered safe.

Regulatory Compliance

We strictly follow the guidelines laid out in:

  • Food Safety and Standards (Food Recall Procedures) regulation, 2017
  • FSSAI Official Guidelines (www.fssai.gov.in)
Governance

Roles & Responsibilities

The Recall Coordinator, Ketan Gupta, has full authority to make recall decisions on behalf of Shivaan Tattava. All actions are coordinated closely with the Food Safety Officer and relevant regulatory authorities.

Management Actions:

  • Clarifying food safety issues and risk exposure
  • Notifying the Commissioner of State or CEO FSSAI
  • Providing retail details and recall methods
  • Coordinating the Recall Management Team

Immediate Responsibilities

Assess the overall problem and evaluate hazards in the food.

Determine the strategy for products in manufacture or storage.

Notify the relevant regulatory authorities and insurers immediately.

Maintain comprehensive records of all decisions and actions.

Notification & Reporting

Our commitment to transparent communication during any recall event.

Stakeholder Notification

Once a recall is initiated, we notify the Food Authority, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and consumers via media contacts.

Status Reporting

Periodic status reports are submitted to the CEO, FSSAI at intervals no longer than 1 week to track recall progress.

Post-Recall Action

A final report is submitted within 30 days of recall completion, detailing the entire process as per FSS Regulations, 2017.
